This in-depth white paper was produced by the Campaign to STOP Genetically Engineered Trees, Global Justice Ecology Project (GJEP) and Biofuelwatch. It describes the science and risks associated with plans to release genetically engineered American chestnut trees into forests.

If approved these GE trees would be the first GMO plants allowed to grow freely in the wild.
